The Fresh A.I.R. (Art in Recovery) Festival is Returning to Sharpsburg with an Expanded 3-Day Celebration of Art, Recovery, and Community!

This National Recovery Month, the Fresh A.I.R. (Art in Recovery) Festival returns to Sharpsburg for its most expansive celebration yet: a free, three-day, sober-friendly cultural event showcasing the power of creativity in addiction recovery. Open to the public from Friday, September 26 through Sunday, September 28, the festival will feature visual art, writing, music, crafting, and more—spotlighting artists and storytellers in recovery.

Centered around the themes of creativity, joy, resilience, and hope, the festival invites enthusiasts, novices, and professional creatives in recovery from substance use/addiction to show & sell their work. This curated series of exhibitions, literary readings, hands-on workshops, and zero-proof social events supports community and connection while working to challenge stereotypes and reduce stigma.
The Fresh A.I.R. Festival aims to:
Celebrate creativity in recovery
Challenge addiction-related stigma
Promote connection through sober-friendly community events
Build a visible, inclusive platform for recovery stories
